GOLDSMITHS CCA PRESENTS FIRST UK SOLO EXHIBITION OF HOLLIS FRAMPTON’S STILL PHOTOGRAPHY
August 1, 2020—Buffalo, NY—Dean Brownrout Modern/Contemporary is pleased to announce that, from September 18 through December 13, 2020, Goldsmiths CCA in London, England will present “Hollis Frampton: Photographs.”
This is the first UK retrospective of Frampton’s still photography.
Hollis Frampton (1936-1984) is a pioneering filmmaker, writer, and photographer. His works are held in many important collections including the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Harvard University, the Museum of Modern Art, Walker Art Center, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
Dean Brownrout Modern/Contemporary represents the photographic print work of Hollis Frampton.
Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art, located on the campus of Goldsmiths, University of London, is London’s newest contemporary arts institution. The gallery is housed in a repurposed Victorian bathhouse, and is now a Grade II listed (historically important) building, designed by Turner Prize winners Assemble.
